I am sure you are all aware of our on-going aquatic weeds in the canals and the issues they are causing. LVID has contracted an applicator out of Boise Idaho to come and treat those weeds on July 20, 2023. The aquatic herbicide Nautique manufactured by SePRO will be applied to both the West and North canals. Nautique does not have any restrictions for irrigation or animal consumption. To heighten the effectiveness of the herbicide irrigation will be on hold for at least 24 hours. Operations will be turning off headgates and inform patrons when they will turn back on. To our organic patrons, please be advised of this application and inform us of your irrigation decisions.

Langell Valley Irrigation understands that frustrations are extremely high right now and we are working diligently to get our infrastructure working properly. Private companies have been hired to work with us and we are not giving up. We will be in contact with patrons through this process and please do not hesitate to get a hold of us with questions or concerns.
